The bathroom fan was installed incorrectly-backwards, with ductwork wrapping around fan and big gaps in the drywall at the opening. When I found this and called Ron, he did nothing to inspect and correct the problem. I removed it and found a strip of wood in the vent duck that had to be removed. Ron wanted to get paid to come back to repair his own work. It was repaired by someone else and cost me $250. The purchase of the fan was included in the quote but did not fit. I purchased a fan and he would not reimburse me for the cost of the fan. Brand new bathroom sink was chipped during the work with tools placed in the sink without protection. He would not take responsibility for the damage. Electrical outlet on deck was to be replaced and installed with the correct exterior box. When completed, was not the outlet he stated and refused to come back to replace it. I had new lights installed in basement. I caught the electrician removing existing lights, not on the scope of work. I told him they were not to be removed and asked to replace them. Only one of two was replaced. An outlet in the basement was move, not on scope of work. I was not asked about it and it was never corrected. I paid for 4 lights to be installed and had 4 installed, but was not given credit for cost and labor of installing 4. A switch and outlet was installed in front porch. Holes were made in joists for the wiring, but the wires were wrapped around joists instead. He claimed it was not his work and was insulted when I noted there was nothing there before and you could trace the wires to the new work. A light fixture was installed above kitchen sink. The electrical wiring above the cabinet was left exposed and materials left on top of the cabinet. I finished the work and patching of the ceiling above the cabinet. Ron refused to follow up on any of this work or to reimburse for any additional expenses or materials I provided. He did work for me in the past and said he would work in my new place. I should have not have hired him again since the work previously done by his crew left me with a pendant light falling from the ceiling. They lost a screw and left it with one instead of two. He had it repaired, so I decided that his response was fine for a mistake made. I had to idea that he would be careless, rude, whiny about the work, and deceitful on this project. I sent an email asking for the work to be completed and for reimbursement. The response was the job was completed, I would have to pay him for any work. It was an unprofessional response and a sloppy job with damages. I have photos and documentation of the work.
