A licensed and insured household goods mover. In business since 2002, Powell Express is a small, owner -operated company that is known for its extensive equipment and hard work ethic. We are based out of Dubuque, Iowa and offer the following services: Standard service is by 20x8' commercial moving truck with lift gate and 2-4 men. Our truck comes complete with all necessary equipment, supplies and tools. Absolutely everything needed to move most any home or small office. Including such equipment as: Hand trucks, dollies, moving blankets, shrink-wrap, wardrobe boxes, speed packs, ramps of 2, 5, and 6 ' We even take your unwanted items to the dumps/recycling or consignment/donation. Taking your items to a storage unit ? We stack your boxes on pallets and shrink wrap them. We can leave them on the pallets and when it is time to leave the unit, we pick up the whole pallet and roll to truck in 1/4 the time it would otherwise take to deal with boxes singularly. Don't need a large truck ? Try our cargo van and 1-2 men. Just need movers and good equipment to load/unload your rental truck or storage pod ? We are capable, strong, knowledgeable and trustworthy men with the best of equipment. Were talking hand trucks, dollies, shrink wrap, blankets, speed packs, tools etc. If your needs require moving items or furniture within your home, we do that as well and have experience with dismantle and rebuilding most common furniture. Most importantly, we are trustworthy and respectable while in your home. We are a progressive company that promotes the community by hiring from within the community and practices eco-friendly methods as to the use and re-use of materials common to our industry.
