My name is Travis Boucher, owner and operator of Drywall by Travis, a small scale drywall repair and remodeling company. I specialize in, and only provide, small scale drywall repairs and remodeling services. I have more than 20 years of both new construction and repair/remodeling drywall experience. The services I provide include, but are not limited to: Incidental repairs such as plumbing/roof leak damage, settling cracks, holes, etc. Small scale remodeling projects such as wall extensions, "open concept" wall removals (non load bearing partition walls only and with electrical and plumbing services already provided) "popcorn" ceiling removals, wall paper removals, spray and hand applied textures, etc. Room additions, not in excess of a total of 50 sheets of drywall. I have been in business for myself full time since 2007 and try to work solely in south west Marion County, Florida. I work almost exclusively by myself or with one helper, so I no longer provide services for large scale projects. I focus on the "small stuff" that large drywall contractors tend to ignore. What does this mean to you, the customer? The person you see in my profile picture is the same person who will be doing the work on your home. I am trade specific. I do not make the claim to be a "handyman". Drywall and drywall repair is what I do, and all I do. My trade has been described as an art. It is not something that can be learned from reading "how to" manuals or watching home improvement shows on t.v. To master, it takes years, (in my case decades) of experience. I have lost count of how many "handymen" I have gone behind and re-repaired drywall issues that they couldn't quite get right. As a homeowner, it is important that you hire only tradesmen that are skilled in the particular task you need done. How much will it cost? How long will it take? What kind of results can you expect? Every job is unique and presents unique challenges. I can only guarantee perfect results with a "corner to corner" refinish, but if you're okay with a slight variation that can save you substantial sums of money and time, so am I.
