West Point Paving

Reviewer please read, this is the 100% truth. Please believe me before you believe this company. You will see rebuttle from the company but I very sadly can not show you there promises. They are very smart in the way they talk... but they don't write it down. Being in the medical field I know now that this phrase applies to everyday life as well. " If you didn't write it down it didn't happen." That should be this companies motto. At first we were so happy to have such a competent sounding company come in and put an asphalt driveway where other contractors told us it wouldn't work and would be a waste of money....or needed a costly draining system. Luke told us of a plan they had for asphalting the very steep driveway and what he would do to alleviate the very obvious water issue we had next to the driveway. It's a permanent running spring not just a rain runoff. It's a constant stream of water. He wanted to excavate it out and place large limestone to prevent the water from running over or undermining the driveway. Its what he would do if it was his driveway is what we were told. Over and over again. We had to do something and it was what he said we should do. So trusting a man who worked with his dad as a kid in true business, we trusted him. He added the limestone to the proposal and away we signed. Everything was great. Until....yesterday morning there was runoff rock on the top part of the driveway. Ok fair enough it has been raining like hell. But when I got to the lower portion low and behold, a large portion of the limestone had washed away was now undermining our 2 month old 23,800 dollar driveway. I called them and Mike and immediately came out they were shocked, they couldn't believe it they thought for sure it would hold up. Sounded sincere. Told us we were great to work for and if we were buggers they would of not come back at all. Well, that was an odd comment but ok. Then came the call from Luke, his son who I truly respected and believed. 3,500 to fix it and we won't have a problem again. Telling me he is shocked and disappointed in it as well....but you still got paid Luke. You made your last cent off of us, and I am going to try to spare someone else from making the same mistake and trusting your smooth talking, this is what we would do if it was a family member type b.s. I very rarely do it, but I am a kind person who hates to see someone get screwed. If I can stop at least one person the headache stress and anxiety of watching almost 25k wash away then so be it. Everyone has a purpose.
