Horrific Experience with our full Kitchen Renovation!!! Disgusting treatment, and worse... the absolute lack of quality of work. #1 they did not obtain the proper permit resulting in us, the homeowner, getting VIOLATIONS from the city, and ALURE said THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE. floor tile is lifting! backsplash tile is completely UNEVEN. Installation of the cabinets are UNEVEN so they tried to just make the doors look even and camouflage the mistakes with moldings but it's not working! Very shoddy work. and they destroyed the ceiling downstairs running electricity to our island... no one warned us in advance. the kitchen is a wreck and it was supposed to take 3 weeks... they were still coming back regularly to fix things 10 months later!!! we are so done. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. and the OWNER WILL NOT CALL YOU BACK. He sends his Trolls. and don't believe the designer... the project manager will only show up to COLLECT the checks. And just forget about a warranty. It's bad...all you have to do is look at the Yelp reviews for the truth. And that A+ rating with the BBB is only because they answer complaints to satisfy the BBB (with a response) READ the actual complaints.

Alure has worked on two projects in my home - a full bathroom remodel several years ago and a new roof this year. Exceptionally professional, they help you understand the project by communicating with you every step of the way. Their crew is professional and courteous, and they keep the worksite clean! When issues arise, which will happen with projects of this size, they are quick to respond and to resolve the issue. As future projects come up, they will be my first call.

Rustic in Wantagh | Jun 2014 | New homeowner engages extensive remodel before occupying this now rustic space in suburban Long Island. | Wantagh, NY
A Cold Start In Atlantic Beach | Apr 2014 | The homeowner fell prey to Super Storm Sandy and the previous home was a total loss. Rebuilding through modular construction made the reappearance of their residence possible. The convenience of having many of the features of the new home finished in a factory environment shortened the actual process by avoiding scheduling separate trades for on-site work. Revived, modest, but up to code and well prepared should there come another storm, the family emerged triumphant and is again enjoying their beach side home. | Atlantic Beach, NY

Basement Remodel | Jan 2014 | Chrysalis Award Winning Project Basement Remodel This project involved taking an existing unfinished space and dedicating it for family use and adding living space. The open concept allows for every family member to have an area for their leisure activities from kids to adults which include an exercise room, media/ family room area, kids play area, bar and bathroom. Using the Owens Corning Basement Wall Finishing System added comfort to the room and an aesthetically pleasing sound absorption in conjunction with other appropriate technologies like Armstrong ceiling tile, ceramic flooring tile and synthetic carpeting. Although most basement spaces can be used as living space when planned properly, builders are now savvy to implement higher ceilings, alcoves for HVAC equipment, code compliant doors and egress windows. The space seemingly screams "finish it!" This now attractive, multi-functional healthy clean basement space is being enjoyed by all members of the family and will continue for years to come. | Massapequa, NY
Kitchen Remodel | Jan 2014 | Chrysalis Award Winning Project Kitchen Remodel Sometimes you know immediately a space can be used in a different way that will enhance a family's lifestyle. The challenge was to open the space, but to also keep a favorite piece of the original design which was a large window. In addition one of the homeowners is an artist and teacher of clay pottery. The expressed needs included the desire to attractively display finished pottery but also have the room to store the handmade dinnerware they use daily. Removing an entire wall challenged the available cabinet space which was satisfied by the use of a large rectangular island. This work space/ island/ breakfast counter was made possible by relocating a laundry room to the garage. This now earthy/ artsy space functions well with an open environment, exudes the persona of the artist with earthy tones that accent the display of finished pieces. Quartzite countertops and simulated wood plank flooring that is porcelain tile are just a few of the design choices made to enhance the end result. Now family and guests alike enjoy this gathering space and get a touch of tomorrow from their recessed coffeemaker juxtaposed against the simplicity of handmade pottery. | Huntington Station, NY
