In the aftermath of a serious snowstorm at the end of January 2021, my old furnace in my basement quit operating. No heat for two straight freezing days. My options for its repair were no more effective than Band-Aids... it was obvious the old furnace had to be replaced. When I called Dix Hills for help, I spoke to its owner and President, Larry LoScalzo. He was straight forward with me, and we wound up with a workable deal: He'd send in a crew to take out the old furnace, and install a new American Standard model, and we agreed on his fair offer that I would pay one half of it's original cost upon its installation, and the remainder half in 30 days time. Despite all the snow that lay upon the ground on February 5th, five Dix Hills trucks showed up, all parked in my street and around my home at 9 am, and their crew worked 6 hours straight, in my cold basement, to finish installation, and furnish me with blessed dependable heat once again. I wish to highly commend, thank and show my sincere appreciation to each of them: To the crew consisting of Nick, Pete, Pablito, Jose, and Alex. They cleaned up neatly afterward, and were each a professional in what each had to do with successful completion of the installation.
