We started this company early in 2015 because we saw that people needed a solution to ugly, damaged concrete, that did not involve a tear out and replacement. We found the solution: RESURFACING. After much research and training, We became certified installers of a nationally recognized system of products. After learning more about the decorative concrete industry, we increased our product offering to include additional product lines and systems. We are confident that we have a solution for virtually all of your concrete woes. We approach our business as an extension of our family. We live near NW Trek and raise our four children, goats, chickens and pigs. We are small enough to give our clients the personalized touch they desire for their projects, yet we are large enough to handle even commercial and industrial projects with ease. We look forward to helping your in your quest to beautify your concrete! Sincerely, Gilbert and Michaele Trujillo

WARNING !!!!!!!! BEFORE HIRING GILBERT OF NORTHWEST CUSTOM CONCRETE RESUFACING PLEASE BE AWARE We hired Northwest Custom concrete Resurfacing for 2 separate projects The First project to start on July 2nd and be finished other then being sealed by the July 3rd. Gilbert said his finisher was on a trip and that’s why we had to wait until he got back. We were informed that his concrete guys were very professional and that he trusted their work. It was after we called about the problems that we learned these were someone Gilbert hired as subcontractors and now he states he will not be using them any longer as they won’t return his calls?? . We were to pay all costs ahead for the concrete gravel and pumper which we did when they arrived. We were also charged for a second load of concrete that was not used because they over estimated how much would be needed. We were to have a colored patio with a slight grade with curved corners. A step down to a flat sidewalk for easy mowing that was to meet the existing pool patio. Patio and sidewalk to be finished with smooth sides and shiners along the edge as well as the stress seems. Concrete would also be poured around exciting fireplace and a pour around an electrical circuit. All in which we instructed Gilbert the owner and were told he would give all details to his finisher. However when the concrete was being poured we were then told that we could not have a step down and they poured a ramp .and that curves would only crack and break. When the concrete workers left the concrete was still wet but we noticed they had left concrete splatters all down the sides of the house as well as the brick fire place and existing sidewalk. In the morning we saw that the patio had trowel marks, pitting, stress seems were not opened, seems to the ramp are not even and bulge. Sides of the patio were not smoothed and had big hunks in spots with divots and uneven spots that pooled water, some of the concrete is undermined and the gravel was left throughout the yard . The pour around the fireplace was not properly slanted and now all the water runs towards house and vent to under the house. The vent on the patio was not properly enclosed and the cover they placed is now a trip hazard. After relaying this to Gilbert he came and finally looked at the mess said he was upset that he had already paid them. We were told he would talk to his concrete guys but he insured us the mess would be cleaned around the house and fireplace and he would send his concrete guy to look at all the problems and defects as we expressed as bad as it is it should be torn out. He then sent one of them out but again Gilbert did not feel it important enough to be apart of that discussion. As once again he failed to be involved and did not come. After talking and explaining all the defects and mess with the pour the concrete guy offered repairs but as I expressed we paid for a new patio and putting more concrete over all the defects would be only band aids and that’s not what we paid for . The cracks and defects are more seen every day He agreed that with all that was wrong with the patio it should be torn out and re poured. We trusted that this is what would be done Sadly we were wrong!!!. The Second project this company was hired to perform was paid by us with half of the total costs prior to it being started. Which we did it was to start on the July 9th and be finished by July 10th. We were asked to remove everything from the pool patio and lower the pool water and cut grass away from the patio which we did. So we were ready for this project to start on July 9th When Gilbert arrived on the July 9th I tried to tell him that because of all the defects and problems with the patio pour his concrete guy agreed that the patio should be torn out to be re poured and refinished and was wondering when that would happen ? However Gilbert became very upset and left. But instead of giving our money back by the 10th or finishing our pool project when this project was supposed to be completed he did not and still has not refunded it He has stalled on replies in the past and canceled meetings and never rescheduled them Gilbert did not put any effort into getting someone to come and clean up the mess that was left on my house fireplace and sidewalk that he said he would do and is still there So a letter of demand was sent to him to this resolve issue His option to fix this problem is that he keeps the money we paid down on the pool patio that we pay him for the money he gave the concrete guys for labor of unprofessionally installing a patio Then he will cover all the defects with a overlay and he will finish the pool deck and we will pay him the 2nd half However resurfacing this unprofessionally poured patio is not what we ordered or paid to have installed. Why would we now want to pay him more money? The last time we gave him money up front he took it and never started or completed the projects. Resurfacing only hides the defects and does not fix them. His concrete guy even stated it should be torn out .So it is not completed nor was it professionally installed or finished Our position is that we were truly taken advantage of at a high price and left with a mess our money not returned or expenses we incurred paid. Nor was the patio torn out and properly repoured and finished and the mess they left has never been cleaned up . Now because of him not wanting to properly resolve this issue we cannot proceed with our other projects we had planned for the summer. We will proceed to get our money back As well as any other costs we occur due to this issue . I feel it would not be wise for us to be fooled again. True I have never seen his work other then pictures on his web site. I have seen first hand his unprofessional work ethics and lack of integrity as the projects that we were promised were unprofessionally installed and the other never started and we are out the money we paid. Look at our pictures of his work
