Pulled up 4 rooms of tile, ground down the floor and stained/sealed. We were given 3 estimates and the one we chose was no thinset base with stain/seal. If you are familiar with removing tile and staining afterwards, THIS SHOULDNT HAVE EVER BEEN AN OPTION!!! We were told that you may be able to see where the tile used to be in 'some' areas, but there's no way to know until you do it. YOU CAN SEE WHERE EVERY TILE WAS! We are not the professionals and chose to risk 'some areas' looking this way, but were not prepared for every area to look this way. Again, this shouldn't have ever been an option! Showed up on time. Seemed overwhelmed and understaffed. Terrible end result. Asked for half the money upfront (big mistake). Did not clean up anything when he left except he removed the tile debris. My entire house is COVERED in dust. In my opinion, a house should look the same or better when you are finished with your job. Been out of our house for 4 days now due to dust and now having to stay out several more due to the overwhelming smell of the stain (not the contractors fault, but a warning would have been nice). I would not recommend to anyone. Now we are having to pay to have tile laid to cover the ridiculously embarrassing stain job.

Landen Maxwell didn't finish the job he was paid to do. We stupidly paid him the entire amount before he finished sheet rocking because he promised to finish it, after Christmas. Did shoddy work on baseboards by inserting huge globs of caulking in seams. Paid him almost $12,000, for him to leave the job undone. His subcontractor, ridiculously, brought his 2 young children to do interior job.
