A recent email on May 17, 2023 to Eric Fleming | General Manager, Schumacher Homes in Columbia SC Good morning, Eric, My understanding is tomorrow morning you will meet with Arnold Olsen for his weekly construction progress update. I thought I would write a few comments for you to review with Arnold while you are together. Arnold is a great Construction Project Manager and always tells me what is going on with any of the subcontractors or concerns he may have about our new home build. It is rare that I call him as he starts off his Monday with an early weekly update call to me. I trust Arnold because he does not sugarcoat any challenges and he is very clear in addressing construction questions I usually have each week. Schumacher has exceeded our expectations in many ways, beginning with the Advantech subfloor! The build quality of Adrian's framing team, the plumbers' rough installation, and the quality of materials are just a few items to highlight. I was very impressed that you provided an Anderson sliding door to our deck as I expected a Silverline unit. The masonry is superb, and the building materials are top-notch. We love the size of the deck and the center-mounted fireplace and the large rooftop chimney. A pleasant surprise to learn of the Silverline casement windows which open smoothly with the crank of a handle, just beautiful! Eric, thank you for making the owner's suite powder room window happen in time for the framing crew. Awesome surprise for us there! Arnold made sure that Adrian's framing crew cleaned up very well and their framing quality on everything they touched exceeded our expectations! We will miss watching them build our house. Your team in Columbia is exceptional, all greet me on the phone with a smile! Ms. Jackie is keeping all the change orders moving along. In closing, Eric, we are very pleased with Schumacher, and the above-mentioned comments are only a few things that come to mind at this moment. We expect the excitement and quality to continue as we move ahead with our build. Count on the Greene's to brag about Schumacher in the Riverchase Estates community as all are asking!
