Price on a roof quote kept going up. He was paid to install a new metal roof and used to short of screws. He tried to cover his work with caulk, and therefore the roof started to leak and all the wood underneath rotted. We had to pay another company to redo the roof and buy all new metal. He did not stand behind his work and never came to look at the damage. The roof caved in the first year onto the upstairs apartment and continue to do so three more times over the course of the next two years. As owners we lost rent and had to buy a whole new roof. He has cost us 15,000 in damages so far. He is also very disrespectful to females as he believes they should not be in the business world. He will not even speak to them on a job site even if they own the property.

Hired them to remove a chimney to below roof level and patch over the hole, with a bathroom vent fan exhaust in place. I was assured that after the shingles got hot they would lay down and it would look like the rest of the roof. They showed up without necessary tools or equipment and had to use mine instead. Never provided a receipt, even though I called and asked many times. I was assured one would be brought by. The shingles look horrible, not flat at all. It is a very noticeable dip in the roof. Just this last week with all the rain it came pouring in at the shingles they installed. It ran down the old chimney hole, flooded the basement, caused thousands in damage. I have called numerous times with no response. Based upon my experience I would never use DML Home Maintenance for anything ever again.
