An Extensive Face Lift

Nov 2015

This 30 plus year old home had seen quite a few attempts at sprucing up over the years. Multiple unmatching trim profiles, wall papers, and simply outdated features such as the oversized light box in the kitchen gave the home a "hodge-podge" feel. Twin Tree gave the entire downstairs a comprehensive face lift. All the trim was replaced with well designed, high end treatments. Wall paper was removed and all the walls were textured over with a light orange peel and freshly painted. Crown molding and chair rail were added throughout. The drab, dark staircase was opened up and completely rebuilt to allow the line of site and natural light an unhindered path through the living and dining room. Finally, a custom fireplace mantle was site built and added to warm up the monolithic fireplace. The final result was, well...have a look!

A Cabin Restoration for Mom

Apr 2015

Nestled deep in the piney woods of east Texas, this little cabin started in the 1930s as a one-room 12x16 cabin. Over the decades, it underwent several remodels and additions. Starting with -+ 500 sq ft of early American hodge-podge, Twin Tree completely gutted the original structure and added on a large kitchen/dining area. The project included new roof, exterior siding and windows, and repairing or replacing every original surface on the interior. The master bedroom was added onto, as well as nice front and back porches. The finished cabin is about 1000 sq ft, and is now a wonderful full time residence.

Spruced up Horse Barn

Apr 2015

This simple horse barn had not been used for years, and consequently had never been maintained. It had become an eyesore, and the choices were to tear it down, or spruce it up! The owner chose the latter and we're glad they did. Twin Tree replaced all the exterior siding and gave the whole thing a nice paint job.

Dust-Free Tile Removal and Reinstallation

Mar 2015

On this project, Twin Tree used an exclusive 100% dust-free tile removal system to remove about 500 sq ft of tile, and also demolished another 1000 sq ft of carpet and old flooring. We then went back and installed this beautiful engineered wood floor and cobblestone-look tile. Other aspects of the project included complete project management, custom cabinet modifications and painting.

Just a little deck for grandma

Apr 2014

Just a little custom deck for grandma. I liked the way the deck encircles the pecan tree. Note the gradual inclination of the steps. The rise is only 4" per step, which makes for a very comfortable staircase for anyone who has might have trouble with steps.
