San Francisco renovation | Jan 2013 | The project consisted of a complete renovation and partial addition to a single family house. Spaces at the main level were redesigned to allow for more open space, connection and flow. These rooms included the entry, living room, dining room, kitchen and den. The addition occurred at the main level and allowed for more space in the kitchen and room for a den, both which lead out to a renovated rear yard. At the upper floor, bedroom level one of the existing four bedrooms was converted into walk-in closet and bathroom for the new master suite. The existing bathroom at this level was renovated as well. Almost all of the interior finishes, electrical, plumbing and heating were removed and replaced. The client elected to install radiant floor heating throughout and it was retrofitted to work with the existing floor structure. Overall the goal was to created a more open floor plan filled with natural light, improved flow and easy connection to the back yard. | $1 | San Francisco, CA | |
