WE ARE ABOUT YOUR HOME AND GARDEN --- We are a husband and wife small remodel company. We started in 2004 with a simple mission statement. "To create an intimate space of natural beauty for you to enjoy both inside and out. A place where you can relax and take a break from the noise of the world." This statement holds true today and we have expanded it to the intimate spaces inside the home. Because of our design and skills background and client requests, we've grown into -- INTERIOR REMODEL - hardwoods, tile and stone, kitchens & baths. Our secret passion is still nature,the out of doors, and the garden, so of course we incorporate both of these two joys in our description of 'GARDINER'S CREATIONS.'   | Denver South Patio, plus | Oct 2008 | BACKYARD PATIO PROJECT - The client wanted to up date their old patio, a concrete patio with a brick overlay that was crumbling. There was also a stone overlay on the upper section that didn't match the ground level area. The proposed solution was to utilize the existing concrete underlayment and install a high density paver overlay. This would save the client excavation and demolition costs of tearing out the old patio, as the original concrete pour was still stable though the surface was marred. Paver products are ideal for the tough weather conditions found here in Colorado. And pavers offer a wide range of size, color and patterns to fit personal preference. ---SERVICE PREFORMED: Tear out and demo of old brick overlay. Installed a multi size paver to the ground level area, raised area and steps for a cohesive look. Paver install was finished with a polymer sand application to fill joints, and for flexibility. The paver application rids the customer of the cracking grout and disintegration of the old brick overlay or concrete pours. Should the paver overlay ever need a repair, it is done by simply lifting the individual paver and replaced or repaired. OTHER SERVICES PREFORMED FOR CLIENT: - Excavated and raised sod area adjacent to patio for proper drainage in yard area and resod. - Laid new front entry walks. - Build/Install "riprap" rock retaining wall around circular raised bed at front driveway area of home. **THIS PROJECTS PATIO WAS FEATURED IN THE PAVER STONE MANUFACUTER'S 2009 CATALOG | Englewood, CO | |
