Rick came out at 8:00 in the morning after a big snow storm and 10 degree weather. He was so very nice and didn't even 'make fun of me' when the issue was something simple! Thanks Rick! We had two different areas for him to check. He was quick and efficient. I would definitely recommend him and he will be the first one I call again if I need help.

We had two house fires and the electrical man that they sent out ( R&A was selected by our home warrenty company) was from R&A electrical. We had a lot of weird dimming and things going on some circuits, breakers tripping and GFCI's popping off. it was not easy to figure out, the man in the end decided the issues of the fires had to be the battery charger even though it was relatively new, however a month or so later we had another space heater fry out, and just had our humidifer catch fire, all of this in 6 months, time, clearly something else in retrospect was WRONG. The GFCI's were wired oddly and that was the only thing he helped us with in terms of figuring out the issue but would not complete work without charging me even though we bought the house in this condition. I had to pay another 55 copay to get him out again to look at GFCI and circuits etc... He wasn't here long and said replace GFCIs and again, I would have to be charged full price as he was not willing to ask for home warranty to pay for this, however they did charge the service calls to home warranty, 2 hour minimum each time, and he never provided any receipt when I paid by check after the work nor an estimate ever given for the GFCI replacements. I got the copay receipts later from the company. He checked the outlets and breaker panel and we thought we were ok until we had another heater burn up and this last week another fire, So four things burned up in 6 months, something wrong and he never figured it out. I finally called excel and they found many of the neutrals in the the breaker box loose, very loose, allowing voltage spikes which is what we suspected in the beginning, however why did they not ever check the breaker box for this?? Wow, really, that is sad, so much more damage we endured that your man did not pick up. Perhaps we should of demanded a master electrician as the man they sent out was not. He was very nice but did not get to the issues, we could of had our house burn down, and cleaning up all the smoke dust and getting scared out of our wits for the 4th time in the middle of the night was traumatic.
