Took 2750$ never came back. Said he refunded money. Do not hire. He's a con man.

I wrote about Ken and Heather Polek recently. Last night I received a call from a crying senior citizen (a woman) saying these two took her money for a home improvement project and are no where to be found!

This person is a con man! He hires outside work off the Internet and doesn't pay them when payday comes. My first payday he had "food poisoning". I saw him the following week at work and he told me of all these jobs he had lines up...so much work. When you press him for payment he just avoids you. He has promised me a check my first week of work..after the 2nd week of work it became obvious he is both financially and ethically challenged. He is being investigated by the PA Attorney General's Office and the PA Bureau of Labor Compliance. I am an honest hard-working painter and he is not going to rip me or other painters off. He is a pathetic loser

I needed my drop ceiling replaced and a part of my kitchen wall. Ken was able to give me an estimate to dry wall these areas and a start date. Ken informed me of the steps of the project and how we were progressing and an end date. We talked about some other projects and i will definitely have him return. Very satisfied with his work. Also very trustworthy as I was not home some days he was there and i had no problem with him being there alone.
