I hired Walt’s Electric to install two ceiling fans – which included running new electrical wiring, new boxes, cutting new holes in the sheetrock and installing mounting hardware (no existing electrical wiring, brackets, etc.). One of the ceiling fans is in the living room with an 18 foot ceiling and no attic crawl space. • I had six different bids from different electrical contractors – Walt’s was the lowest price. • Walt agreed to do the work within approx. two weeks from providing the estimate. • He and his assistant (Fernando) arrived promptly on the morning at the agree time and went straight to work. • They took great care in covering the flooring, other fixtures and furniture to protect & catch any dust with drop cloths and plastic sheeting. • They worked with efficiency – no messing around, no taking breaks, no phone call or texting interruptions. • They had the tools and equipment needed to get the job done. • They asked questions upfront and along the way to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted – no guessing on their part. • They ‘fished’ the electrical wiring through the limited ceiling space (no attic access) and only cut holes in the sheetrock where the two ceiling fans were being installed. No unnecessary cutting at all! • When complete, they cleaned-up thoroughly: vacuumed the carpet floor & stairs and even used our ‘wet’ Swiffer mop to make sure the hardwood floor was entirely clean! • The final bill for the labor & materials was exactly the same as the estimate Walt had provided. Would I consider using Walt’s Electric again for any future project? ABSOLUTELY Would I recommend Walt’s Electric to any else? I had Walt's Electric come in and install three ceiling fans, and also add a J-box outside. Walt came in and treated my house as if it was his own. He covered everything first, ensured nothing was exposed, and then he started working. Walt measures twice and cuts once, which is something i really appreciated. I would hire Walt again since his quality of work is just beyond excellent.
