Triple Crown Paving & Concrete

Done a bad cheap job on driveway. Requested the other half of money before driveway was done to “pay employees and buy supplies”.. and didn’t withhold their two year warranty. They ghosted us when the bad job washed off in rain. 18k wasted. Do not waste your money and time.

Prior to buying our home Triple Crown Paving was hired by the owner to repair and regravel the drive. They charged him $2500.00 to grade and put down 5 loads of gravel. Apparently they had a problem grading due to rock so just put down gravel. When we moved in 2 wheel drive vehicles all got stuck in the gravel filled ruts. Triple Crown Paving owner came by after I called him to complain. He suggested paving a short part of the drive with asphalt. He would give us a deal on the asphalt as he said he had about 10 yard left over from a church lot they were doing. With the movers coming the next day, I had to do something.. They ended up paving 120' at a cost of $8,900.00. They left the asphalt rough for traction which sounded viable. They came back a couple days later and said it needed to now be treated because the gravel in the asphalt was lossening. So they gave us another "deal" on the treatment so this only cost us another $4,800.00 because they had to put it on heavy because it was rough. I take some blame because I didn't get a full quote and a contract but also feel we were taken advantage of somewhat. I would DEFINITELY NOT recommend them. When Randolph cousin was here doing the treatment spray he also told me he was going to return with another load of gravel to repair the lower areas and has not returned as of yet. While doing the treatment he had an issue with the brakes on his truck and went off the driveway leaving a big rut in the mud next to the driveway. Also when paving they left globs of asphalt in the gravel that have now hardened and added to further issues with the drive. The asphalt they did lay by hand was never rolled and is also VERY bumpy. Overall it was a pretty oust job the cost us close to $13,000.00. We definitely feel we were taken advantage by this company. AVOID USING THEM AT ALL COST.
