Interior & Exterior Design | Jan 2013 | Our clients were building a 6000 S.F. mountain home to be presented on the Lane County Home Builders Associations Tour of Homes in the country outside Eugene. This home has a kitchen, laundry room, family room, living room, office, master bedroom, powder bathroom, guest suite, 2 guest bedrooms and outdoor living space with patio kitchen. We were asked to assist in all of the interior and exterior finish and fixture selections, design the general, accent, ambient and task lighting and switching plans, and to guide them through all of the furniture space planning, selection and purchase. We recommended and designed the built-in fireplace/entertainment units in the master bedroom and family room. And we designed the fireplace walls in the living room and patio. We assisted with all of the cabinet design and finish selections throughout the home and the exterior patio. Paint was selected for this home and the paint instructions and cuttings were provided to the general contractor, the client and we kept a copy in our files for future reference. | $800k | Eugene, OR
Torreon Residence | Aug 2008 | For this Mountain Home we assisted our clients with all of the finish and fixture selections, cabinet design, countertop and tile selections and design, lighting design, flooring selections, and all other interior and exterior finishes required to complete the construction of a new home. We also assisted the client in the space planning, selection and design of all furnishings, art, accessories, rugs and window treatments. We provided all of the design drawings and assisted with all the necessary project management and estimating communication with the builder and specific vendors on the project. During construction of the home we purchased all of the furnishings for the client and coordinated the product tracking. Once the home was complete, we coordinated and managed the installation of the furnishings, art, accessories and window treatments. | $85k | Vida, OR
Interior Design & Bathroom Remodel Design | Jan 2016 | We assisted these clients to select and place all of the furniture, art and accessories. They were unhappy with their master bathroom so we designed it to represent their more contemporary taste. | Eugene, OR
Interior Paint Selection | Nov 2015 | Our clients purchased this home and had a short timeline to repaint, refinish and expand the wood flooring and replace the carpet in the living room. So we quickly coordinated the painter, wood flooring refinisher and installer and carpet installer. We selected the new paint colors and then the carpet. The wood floor was left natural, which really helped the appearance of the excessively yellowing cabinets. | Eugene, OR
Payson Interior Design | Aug 2015 | Our clients were building a 7500 squre foot cabin and needed assistance with all of the finish and fixture selections and design of the elements. An ecclectic look was desired so there are 7 different cabinet door styles cohesively combined with 7 different painted and stained finishes. The foyer floor and hallway is reclaimed hardwood from an old barn and has a wagon wheel pattern in the center. The niche in the foyer is a tiled western scene. There ar 2 master suites with bathrooms and 2 guest bedrooms each with their own bathroom also and a powder bathroom in this home. It is also equipped with a laundry room on each floor and a large theatre. The powder bathroom has reclaimed hardwood paneling and is ornamented with antiqued bronze nailheads. The kitchen is complete with 2 islands for entertainng, a large table and a side buffet for storing dishes. The upstair living room has a large stone fireplace and mantle trimmed with nailheads. The downstairs family room serves as a combination television game room. The theatre is western themed to represent Tombstone. Since this is the clients vacation home, preserved plants, trees and foilage arrangements are used throughout the home. A full truck of accessories was taken to the home, unloaded into the garage and then installed into the home. There are 14 paint colors in this home. The interior stained ceiling continues out to the exterior so care was taken to make sure that the color stayed consistent. | Payson, AZ
Eugene Remodel | Aug 2013 | We were asked by a remodeling contractor to assist in design direction, finish and paint selection on this home. The home has an existing wall panel color that made it difficult to coordinate a cabinet stain color. The client wanted a light and bright home and the natural direction with the existing paneling was to stain the cabinets in a rich brown. We finalized on a warm but light stain color that blends nicely with the paneling throughout the rest of the home. The counters are engineered quartzite and the floors are travertine. The powder bathroom was also remodeled to include a pre-fabricated vanity. A mirror and lighting were included to complete the look. Paint was reviewed with the client, selecting colors that they would enjoy living with. Paint cuttings and instructions were prepared for the contractor, the painter and the client. We will keep a copy in our clients file for future reference. | Eugene, OR
Eugene Kitchen Remodel | Aug 2013 | We were referred this project by a remodeling contractor that we work with. This homeowner has beautiful views over the city of eugene and their back yard garden, however, it was impeded due to the wall in between the kitchen and living room. They wanted to be able to stand in their living room and see the back yard and stand in the kitchen and see the views of eugene. So they asked us to turn their home into a great room plan and to remodel the kitchen. We met with an engineer and requested that the space be opened up using a beam from one end of the space to the other so that there was no post in the middle of the room. This kitchen design is unique with industrial type faucets at the sink and island sink and an open metal screened cabinet at one end of the island for storing potatoes, squash and other fruits and vegetables. The other end of the island features a wine fridge, wine cabinet and storage cabinet for wine and cocktail glasses. The interior lit reeded glass cabinets right and left of the kitchen window are minimal so that we could capture as much of the back yard views as possible. Linear lighing is located under the upper cabinets and under the island bar counter. Dimmable recessed lighting is strategically located and pendant fixtures light appetizers at the bar. All of the lighting features work together to create a beautiful accent and ambient light in the evening. The kitchen floor and floor in front of the island bar are tiled with 12x24 contemporary tile and the perimeter is banded with absolute black granite tile, cut to 6" wide x 12" long pieces. | Eugene, OR |
