K&B landscaping

My parent’s house, was in need of a new fence. Through a friend, we contacted Francisco from K&B Landscaping. I asked him when he could start. I told him that I wanted a full board on board cedar fence and to have it stained and to also have the old wood removed once the job is completed, to which he agreed on everything through text and phone calls but would not provide a written contract or receipt. When he first arrived, the first two days were going well but the third day he would leave early, leaving the painters but they never finished painting the fence. After the fourth day the painters painted until the paint ran out. They said they had to talk to Francisco and Christian to get more paint. After the 4th day, we never saw Francisco or his team. My mother, son, father and myself would text and call him, asking him when he was coming to finish the paint. Through multiple texts and phone calls, and 7 days later, the old wood still sits in the yard, the fence is still not fully painted, the boards have screws everywhere and there are multiple gaps between the boards. The fence is not leveled at all. The brick on the neighbors side and our side, has been painted on. Francisco finally reached out and told us he would make it up to us and fix all that needed to be repaired. It has now been 4 days and there has been no communication from his side. After a second opinion from a real professional, we discovered the wood used for the fence is pine and not cedar as requested and agreed upon by both parties. WE ARE ANGRY and very DISAPPOINTED in the service this man has provided and want nothing more to do with Francisco. Our money should be FULLY refunded or we will take legal action against him. He has since blocked our calls and texts, just going to show the immaturity and lack of professionalism from Francisco.
