About Certified Pools
Certified Pools is a pool service, repair and maintenance company that has been active in the East Collin County and North Dallas area for the last 19 years. We have now expanded to cover the Cedar Creek Area (Kaufman, Kemp, Mabank, Gun Barrel City and Eustace). Lance has more than 35 years in the pool industry and is present at every job site. We can help you with all your pool needs. This includes swimming pools or fountains. We are licensed by Texas Department of Regulatory Services, background checked by the State of Texas, Certified Stain Specialist by Jack's Magic, a Certified Pool and Spa Operator's (CPO) which is recognized in 25 countries. Certified Pools has a AAA rating with the Better Business Bureau and has maintained the highest customer review rating since established. Lance has served on the local and state level of IPSSA (Independent Pool and Spa Service Association).

Worst experience we have had with a pool service ever. We have owned pools since 1985. Lance Rust has good credentials on paper and his wife Debbie went to great lengths to cite his resume and qualifications based on many years experience in the greater Dallas area, but our experience with his service in our lake home on Cedar Creek Lake could not have been more disappointing. He moved our float control device from the infinity well to the pool proper and placed a flower pot on it to hold in place claiming this would save chemicals. The infinity well went dry and when we asked to go back to the original configuration, he was very defensive and condescending to my wife. He was rude and insulted when we tried to call him when we had problems created by him on the weekend and he instructed us to never call him after 5pm or on weekends. I suggest you stay far away from Lance Rust and Certified Pools. Mike & Karleen Leger
