Copied to file: Reported and disputed: Install of 2 windows went as planned. Typical install lead time is 45-60 days. Contract was signed on 2/10. We installed windows on the 61st day. Install went fine and customer was pleased and gave final payment that day on 4/13. 45 days after install Customer began other renovations that revealed rotted wood near the installed windows only after removing several panels of siding which did not involved the window install. We responded on sight within 24hrs and we offered to fix the rotted wood at cost and NOT charge for the removal and reinstall of windows as a courtesy. However after hearing what they had to say and blaming us for things out of our control and not normal install procedure they proceeded to tell us to leave the property and they declined the repair. They later emailed us and changed their mind. At that point we, due their hostility towards us, declined to help them further. This is a brief but accurate description of the basic events. Why they are defaming us is quite unbelievable. All these facts can be backed up by documents and photos.
