ALPHA PRO PAINTING LLC

BEWARE: Alpha Pro Painting, LLC was hired to prep, sand and paint the exterior of my house. There was gross negligence with their work leaving the majority of my cedar shingles ruined and in need of replacement. Additionally, they did an overall bad job including damaging and not replacing 2 window screens, painting over my aluminum window frames, over-spraying onto the chimney and various areas of trim and spraying stain on top of paint. He did work without testing for lead, and when he was asked for the results of the lead test, he lied and said he tested and there was none. The damage to my house is upwards of $20k, none of which the company would pay for. He would not even return my $1,500 deposit. On 2/26/18, I won a small claim against the company, in the Stamford Small Claims district, for $5k. Payment has not yet been received and was due starting April 2, 2018.
