He might be good at plumbing but do not use for construction!! Had to reschedule 1st day he was supposed to start construction of shed/coop. I then read reviews on him and found all negative. I called him the next morning to discuss negative reviews and he assured me those were old from when he had a partner. He said and his partner parted ways 2 years ago and aside from his business Liberty Construction and Handiman Work he was building our shed/coop on his own for side job as business was slow. He assured me he did good work. We had discussed in detail what we wanted and provided pictures of coop we wanted. To protect us from scam I asked him for written contract with specifics and amounts prior to starting work. He emailed me outline of a "contract". Not very specific - no drawings or actual dollar amounts. "Stated he would fill in as he bought materials". Showed up about 3 hours late but we let him begin work since I had not signed the contract without it being filled in. Bill worked less than 4 hours and 45 minutes of that time he was unloading materials he was using. After he left first day we went out and looked at what he had done and it was not what we had asked for him to build. Floor was not 8x8 but 7' 8" x 7' 11". Not level. Not flush against existing run. Changed where door was to be. Was going to use a bucket for chickens to climb up and into coop door opening from run. Build floor on blocks instead of stilts. Roof did not match up to existing coop roof. Support beams 48" apart instead of 16" apart and were nailed in sideways with the screws protruding about 2 inches into the inside of coop where chickens or grandkids and us could be injured. My husband called him next morning and fired him. Paid him for his time here and had him give us the materials we had paid for. Husband tore all of Bill's work down and he and our son building themselves now. Luckily not out any money because Bill had used his builder's discount to buy materials. Took him 2 days to show up with remainder of our materials and pick up our check for his time worked. BEWARE.

Sheila, my wife, and I were selling our house and we needed several projects done. They included electrical, plumbing and crawl space vapor barrier items. I contacted Bill after he responded to our need for a handyman. I called Bill and explained to him the areas of need. I spent a good deal of time with him over the phone explaining what needed to be done. He was very knowledgeable in all the areas we needed worked done. Bill showed up the next morning with Jerry, his assistant, and they began working to repair and upgrade the items on the list. Bill was very thorough in his work and explained to me the particulars of the items he was working on. Bill, along with Jerry, satisfactorily completed every item on the list of jobs given to him. Sheila and I would highly recommend his services. He has been doing this handyman work for the past 30 years and he is very good at what he does.

This guy has a lot of issues, biggest one he is not truthful & can't be trusted. Use him @ your own risk! He is a scammer...

Garbage
