Outstanding job with my roof installed. Based on results and quality of roofing job, Contracted McNulty to install vinyl siding, seamless gutters, and had them put in 10 replacement windows. Reasonably priced, workmanship along with cleanup was what I expected. Recommend to anyone looking for home improvement at a (non rip off price). I will have future work done by them as needed.

I recently had 8 windows replaced in my home, and I just can't believe the beauty of them! They are all nicely made and the quality of them are tops! They maneuver with ease to open and close, and these windows definitely keep out the wintertime cold drafts--(and you know the winter we are having). And I just want to add that the crew he has that came in to install these Simonton Windows, were wonderful. They were very clean and considerate in their work and had all 8 windows installed in the same day. They also removed all the boxes that they had come in, and cleaned up the area to leave no mess! Why should I go again with McNulty Home Improvements?--Because I was totally satisfied!

Berkley,MA Exterior Remodeling | May 2016 | The owners were past customers of mine,I vinyl sided there home in Somerset with clapboard vinyl about ten years earlier. After buying the new home in Berkley they called and asked for a price on all new vinyl windows, and some kind of siding. I asked them if they had preferred vinyl this time around since we had used it on there first home. They both agreed that the vinyl was great because of the low maintenance, but they said that they never liked the seams and thought it lacked a realistic wood look. Since they now had moved to a more rural area they were thinking that wood was the best way to go appearance wise. I explained to them that natural wood shingles were not maintenance free, because they need to be oiled or stained at least every four to five years. I asked them if they ever had heard of vinyl shingles, namely Cedar Impressions and Cedar Discovery.CertainTeed Corp. invented the Impressions first about twenty years ago followed a year later by Mastic Corp. and there Cedar Discovery.Since both companies are the oldest names in vinyl,I explained that though the quality would be the same,I thought Cedar Discovery by Mastic was not only a better engineered product ,it was, for the same money a more realistic looking shingle. They both did not realize that the vinyl shingle type siding had no seams what so ever. Then I reminded them of the custom vinyl window and door trim I had used on there last home which did not need those ugly "J" channels to hide the ends of the siding, since the vinyl casings had a channel build into the casing. With a three inch casing on three sides and a two and one half inch crown molding on top of the window or door it not only looked fantastic, it also gives the house a more balanced look. I explained that when you custom cover a casing with aluminum you for one, only can cover what is there, therefore, if one casing is three inches and another is say two inches that is the way they must be covered. Because the vinyl casings are all the same width you get better symmetry which makes the house look so much better. Then after I finished pricing the job they were pleasantly surprised to find out that even though vinyl shingles are five times the cost of regular clapboard vinyl, the labor is much cheaper then applying wood shingles and are in fact cheaper then a wood shingle job. Plus they wouldn't have the cost of staining after the siding was complete, and all the trim was maintenance free forever!! After they had decided on the vinyl shingles I showed them some of the newer vinyl replacement windows with either real wood inside or a fantastic looking imitation wood for half the cost. The interior covering is so real looking the oak looking window, which came in light or dark oak gave the entire maintanance interior of the home a warmer feel. The best part is it's not only half the money of real wood but it is completely maintenance free,no staining, no urethane. After we finished the job inside and out I signed three more customers in the same neighborhood. | $28k | Assonet, MA | |
