Dennis Schaefer Building and Design

We had Dennis help us with a lower floor remodel. Created two bedrooms, a full bathroom, common room and moved entry door location (among other things). The job was well done, timely, well priced and all crews were quite professional. Working with Dennis was the construction equivalent of a Disney experience for us. He was a pleasure to work with and a fabulous communicator. His designs were genius - his changes made so much more sense for our house. He had a great report with everyone that we watched him work with - including inspectors. Highly recommend.

Dennis Schaefer completed several jobs for me during the summer of 2015. On my own home, he replaced the cedar wood trim on the outside of my house that was damaged from age, water, and wear, and also installed a new storm door in my garage. My basement was insulated with closed cell foam insulation, which included removal and disposal of the existing fiberglass insulation. Both jobs were done in a timely manner with quality workmanship. Dennis supervised the entire process, and was available for any and all questions I had. Another project which he completed for my family during the summer of 2015 was the addition of a living room/bedroom/bathroom suite to my mother’s house. This was a major project that spanned from July to October. Dennis designed and managed the entire addition process. Work progressed according to the schedule he set out, was done in a timely and quality manner, and completed according to schedule. Dennis was very easy to work with, and the collaboration of ideas was an enjoyable process. I would highly recommend Dennis for any of your building needs. In fact, Dennis will be renovating my basement into livable space during the spring of 2016. I’m looking forward to the process and the end result!

I hired Dennis Schaefer to design and build a 500 sq ft bedroom/bath/sitting room addition including a small covered porch and patio. I must say Dennis' work is top-notch. He completed the project, start to finish, in just 8 weeks, well ahead of schedule. Dennis adheres to a firm schedule and is on the job site daily. He remains in constant contact, personally oversees all crews, pays close attention to every detail, and makes sure the job site is cleaned daily. His work is outstanding. I would HIGHLY recommend Dennis Schaefer and would definitely hire Dennis again should the need arise.
