Our team here at Waste Redeemed by Grace consists of Micah and Lauren Rogers; we are a newlywed couple in our early thirties. when we met we instantly discovered our shared passion for salvaging architectural hardware and design, and preserving sustainable building materials could mesh with our own individual talents for both fine artistry and skilled labor…. Resulting, naturally, in a unique and productive art of re-purposing and re-using. Locally, we offer Salvage and Clean-Up, Hand Deconstruction, Remodeling and Construction, Design and Consulting, and Odd Jobs services. We also build custom interior and exterior barn door style doors, outdoor sheds and storage, and specialize in organization design. On the front lines of deconstructing barns in the county and removing old metal treasures buried in fields…. this is where our imaginations become inspired to make new from old and beautiful from tattered. We sell our sometimes Primitive, sometimes Industrial, and Tastefully Rustic Home Décor and Furnishings locally and online, generally in the form of custom orders requested of us (with a huge variety of items), orders placed through Etsy (formerly), whether custom or Simply Hand-Built and Sustainable; all of our artisan handcrafted items are made completely from Salvaged/Reclaimed wood (usually from barns, fences, pallets, etc.) antique hardware from our wide, always growing collection, and many more types of re-used and re-purposed materials that we collect while providing salvage and pick-up services.

Custom Interior Barn-Style Sliding Door, for Master bathroom, Hand-Built, delivered and Installed | Feb 2017 | This is a custom order for an interior barn-door style sliding door that was to replace the door from the master bedroom to the master bathroom. The client requested a framed "Z" style front and a single mid-bar style back, with a flush-mount handle on the backside (the inside of the bathroom), a latch (simple hook & eye), and a traditional pull-style front handle. We used salvaged box-style rail and double-wheeled swivel hangers from a barn we are deconstructing, and used High-Heat Flat Black Enamel to paint all the hardware to match the customer's requests. The door was painted a clean white, and also included a door stopper and our advice on door guide options, etc. We provided all three paints we used (the black for the hardware, white for the door, and the lt. french gray we special ordered to paint the backboard header to match their walls) in case they needed/wanted to do any touch-ups.We included delivery (from 98248 to 98226) and installation in the $400.00 price. | $400 | Bellingham, WA |
