I have been a loyal Lopez customer for over four years. I love the employees who are always kind, punctual, and professional. However, circumstances that occurred today with the owner of the business, Jesse have forever tarnished their reputation with me. I had my quarterly service this morning. The tech, Pier, was awesome and polite, as all of the employees are. I let him know I had ants come into my kitchen by my stove the day before, so Pier treated the area and like all the employees do, told me to call if I had any more problems. After an entire day out, I came home, opened up my pantry door to find hundreds of ants coming out of the electrical outlet. As I was cleaning up, throwing any and everything away and spraying the area, I called Lopez to let them know they were now in the pantry and if they could have someone come over to treat the pantry, since the pantry was not treated. The owner, Jesse first of all, did not believe me that I had ants. Why would I lie? Total idiot. Then he told berated me for calling him for having "all these problems all the sudden". WHAT?! I have been their customer for four years and have NEVER had to call with a problem. Jesse told me he would return my check in the mail for my quarterly service but refused to send a technician out to fix the problem. I told Jesse he was acting like a jerk to me, and you would have thought I shot his dog. He became so flustered and butt hurt because I "called him names". I even tried to apologize to him (even though he was so weak that he couldn't take criticism) and he told me he did not accept, blah, blah. The whole event is actually quite comical. If he treats every great customer like this I have no idea how he will stay in business ("I've been in business for 35 years, there is no way you have ants.... blah blah"). What a disappointment. Those employees deserve better.
