I worked with SJC Building last fall, for a complete new roof and could not have been happier with the outcome. I had been approached several times by other companies due to my roof being a discontinued T-Lock shingle. Many companies tried to help me replace my damaged roof only to be met with multiple denied claims stating the damage had been done from multiple older storms and they couldn't prove it was incurred by the recent one leaving me with an old roof my insurance company would not replace. I was positive that getting a new roof on my home would be out of pocket and something i couldn't afford until SJC met with me and spent the time assessing the roof damage. SJC worked directly with my insurance company showing them that not only did my roof have hail damage but horrible wind damage; SJC did the impossible and got me a new roof for the cost they estimated and nothing out of pocket except my deductible as agreed. Because of their attention to detail, knowledge and pure customer service, i was able to receive a beautiful new roof on my home. i have since recommended SJC Building to several friends and family who also raved about their knowledge, service, and experience in replacing there roofs. We recently had roofing problems which were beginning to show through the cracks on the interior of our house and were causing concern. I was given SJC's information through our realtor to assist us. Upon the same day of contact, Jim with SJC was at my house taking a look to make sure we didn't have immediate concerns and then returned when our homeowners insurance adjuster came for their inspection, Within just days of contacting SJC, i had roofing samples and an estimate to send to our HOA for immediate review. The expediency provided us with what we needed to reach a quick deadline for HOA approval, which only meets once a month. Jim thoroughly surveyed the entire house, pointing out our major and minor issues that were helpful when it came to the project being covered under homeowners policy, There were no hidden fees upon signing the contract and we felt confident in his ability to work with our insurance company, and to ensure the highest quality of materials for getting our house up to the current codes and standards. He filed all the necessary paperwork with the insurance company and dealt with them directly, leaving us worry free. he also facilitated the fixing of the interior, providing a seamless transition between the trades. Once the work began, SJC had an amazingly efficient crew, who were very respectful of our time, the noise level and clean up. The entire roof was done within 2.5 days, causing no interruption in our daily life. The crew was consistently cleaning to limit any mess in our or our neighbors yards. Once the job was done, i did worry about a couple of shingles that didn't seem to look right. SJC sent someone over the next day to inspect the job to ensure it met the highest standards in the roofing business. A few months later after the job was done, I thought i heard dripping from the roof after a very heavy rain storm. SJC had someone at my door that same day to inspect the area thoroughly. I have personally recommended Jim and the rest of the team at SJC to my neighbors and would recommend them to anyone in the future. SJC approached us while we were outside doing yard work, they had been looking at my neighbors roof 2 doors down. Kimber had explained to me that they were doing free inspections to the property for hail damage in the area and had found alot of it in our area. I let them up onto my roof, they took a bunch of pictures and showd me how my roof and gutters were damaged by hail, i was shocked.. Kimber and Michael were extremly professional and made calling a claim in a breeze, i would highly recomed them and SJC to anyone who thinks there property could of been compermised by our recent storms, our roof got approved and was installed only 3 weeks after!! i am very happy
