I gave the owner of this company, Vincent Filippone Jr., a $2000 deposit a few years ago to remodel my shower (back then he was operating under his previous company, Bath Genie LLC). He cashed my check and never began ANY work (he said he was “too busy”), yet he never returned my money, even after promising to do so. I then went through the process of obtaining a Judgment in my favor in small claims court, however he only responded once I reported him to the FL State Attorney, division of Consumer Protection. He responded with several excuses, and promised to make payments to me. But after that case was closed, he disappeared (again). I do not want anyone else to be scammed out of their hard earned money by Mr. Filippone like I was. Beware!
