The owner Yuri Sanchez of Sanchez Home Improvement, LLC. was hired to complete a renovation in our home (main level). The project was to include: Removing two interior walls, replacing kitchen cabinets, kitchen countertops, replace/add lighting fixtures, replace light switches and outlets, paint, and reinforce existing hardwood floors to accept a floating luxury vinyl plank flooring system throughout the main level of our home. In our initial meeting with Mr. Sanchez, he stated on more than one occasion that he would have workers in the home daily (10am to 6pm - Mon-Fri) and that the project should take 6 to 8 weeks to complete (Contract dated October 25, 2021). However, that was not the case. After the first 3 days of demolition, only 1 worker showed up daily and the project completion date was extended three times before we issued a letter of termination because of breach of contract. Thank the lord my husband was working from home to oversee/monitor this project. The workmanship and craftsmanship was poorly performed and they had to repeatedly do things over again to correct them. The wall framing was installed incorrectly, the drywall work was a mess, the electrical work caused an ongoing safety concern, even shocking my husband one evening when he tried replacing a simple light switch plate. We purchased new cabinets for our kitchen, however, once they were installed, you would think that we had purchased used cabinets! We've never seen so many nail holes, wood filler patches and scratches on newly installed cabinets. Not to mention the damages that were done to our recently purchased appliances. Our kitchen sink plumbing was another issue. The sink, garbage disposal unit and plumbing was improperly installed. When running the (double) sink faucet, water filled up on both sides of the sink. We texted Mr. Sanchez multiple times over a week span and he never sent his plumber to correct the issue. At this point of the renovation, we had been without an operable kitchen for over a month. So my husband and I decided to call a professional plumbing technician to come and correct their faulty plumbing work. The plumbing issues were fixed in a matter of hours. During the renovation, we also discovered that the wiring for our home alarm system was missing. After inquiring about it, Mr. Sanchez stated that the wiring was temporarily moved to the attic until the wall construction was completed. The wall construction was completed, but no wires were visible. We inquired again about the alarm wiring, this time around he admitted that the wiring was buried in the floor by his electrician and we would not be able to retrieve it with no apology. As the project dragged along, we continuously asked him for a project task schedule so that we could see how much longer the renovation would take. He ignored our text messages and emails and failed to answer our question. After a stern conversation with him almost a week or two later his only reply was, "he couldn’t provide one because my husband was making his workers redo work and wanted things done perfectly!" At this point, my husband and I had to make an unwanted decision and that was to issue Mr. Sanchez a letter of termination (on Saturday, January 29, 2022)... We had had enough!!! We then discussed and outlined our next course of action after reviewing and going over the cost of the project, the damages, the completion of work, the unfinished work and decided to reach out to Mr. Sanchez (on Monday, March 7, 2022) requesting that we be partially refunded for the overpayment of work that was NOT performed and overall damages. His response was, "Legally there is 30 days. That's if I owed. Ya'll stopped project. Not me therefore giving up all rights. Because Ya'll voided contract by doing so. Ya'll are liable to pay for balance remainder since Ya'll breached contract. I am owed balance in actuality." (see screenshot that he googled and sent to me) My husband and I learned a valuable lesson in this whole ordeal... Trust nothing but documentation (emails and text messages), video evidence and photo evidence!! This was an overall AWFUL experience for the both of us! So if you're reading this, and considering using Sanchez Home Improvement, LLC. as a service, I highly suggest that you look elsewhere!!

Mr. Sanchez did a Great job painting and performing some carpet work in our home. He is also great for various ad hoc home improvement jobs. Did some roofing work for us well, we were quite pleased.

My friend had an appointment to have her home carpeted and she received the absolute worst service! Mr Sanchez was rude & completely unprofessional! He didn't keep his scheduled appointment that was arranged and didn't even bother to call to let her know, she waited for hours and then once she reached him, he had no explanation as to why he did not call to inform her or as to why he neglected her appointment. I would never use his services & would not recommend to anyone!
