Since its inception in 1991 and subsequent incorporation in 1998, Power Jack Foundation Repair had been subcontracting foundation work from several of the foundation repair companies in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. There came a time, however, when this arrangement no longer was feasible. The foundation repair companies from whom Power Jack Foundation Repair subcontracted the work, were demanding that the quality of the workmanship be sacrificed in order to complete more jobs in the same amount of time. For the owner of Power Jack Foundation Repair, Craig Powers, this was not acceptable. He believed the customer deserved top quality repair, regardless of how long it took, at a price that was affordable. Therefore, he decided to offer homeowners the same quality foundation repair sold direct, instead of through a middleman.
