The plumber was EXTREMELY unprofessional! He criticized me when I asked questions and made me feel afraid to have him in my home while I was alone. His quote for the repairs was also about $500 higher than two other quotes I got for the same repair. I would NOT recommend Big Dog Plumbing and suggest if you do choose to go with them that you make sure you are not alone in your home when they come to do the repairs!

How dare you? How DARE you? To have the audacity to come into my home and have it in your mind that you can scam me with your sexist, narcissistic, arrogant mindset. I think that this company should close for good. To try and convince me to waste my money on units for my home that are entirely unnecessary. Asking me to waste my money? Are you freaking kidding me? This is preposterous. Simply, unmitigated. I will NEVER recommend or use this company's "services" again. Mr. "Mike G." can eat a bunch of sour grapes. Good. Bye.

My next door neighbor has a home warranty contract, they sent out Big Dog Plumbing to replace a leaking water heater. We knew prior to their visit that her water heater would need to be brought up to City of Fort Worth code. Unfortunately, our elderly neighbor was charged $1200, the water heater was covered under the warranty but this amount was charged for bringing the heater up to city code. 1) A permit was not applied for and the water heater was placed on 2 cinder blocks, the tray is not centered. There should have been an Inspection Permit and the stand should have been made of sturdy material. I advised my friend to call the city and to also get an itemized receipt of what she paid for. Our's cost $375 for the same issue 10 years ago, with the deductible for our warranty service of $75, the $300 was for installing a new stand, tray and new hoses, etc. She is supposed to contact the Plumbing Service to have this corrected. I WILL BE DEFINITELY CONTACTING THE CITY CODE ENFORCEMENT due to this being a hazard to our neighbor's house.

Our hot water heater failed on a Friday night. Water was everywhere. Our home warranty company couldn't find anyone to come out. Saturday morning, Mike Goss, the owner of Big Dog Plumbing, was contacted by HWA with my contract and within 10 mins he called me and within 30 mins of that call, he was at my door. Extremely professional and personable. He and his team were in and out of my house by one pm and hot water was restored. There were out of pocket coats as a 'handy man' had done previous work to hodgepodge the unit to last a decade longer than it should have. Mike was able to get us up to code in one morning. He was informative about the entire process and instructed us what to do for preventative maintenance in the future. So grateful we ended up with this company. Him being a veteran Marine is comforting as I know as a military family, there is honor and integrity instilled to the core. As we move forward, he will be our plumber. Thanks again Big Dog Plumbing.
