Jeff Johnson Timber Frames, Inc. is a small, owner-operated timber frame company in the southwestern mountains of North Carolina. We operate with a staff of experienced timber framers who enjoy their craft and love the woods they work with. All are members of the Timber Framers Guild and take pride in the tradition of the timber framing craft.

We gave Jeff a challenge with our house. It is large and has a complicated roof design. It was an hour from his shop and up a steep driveway. However, Jeff and his crew did a perfect job. There was no problem he didnt have an answer for. He explained everything perfectly as we went. Not only is he a craftsman, he is such a nice guy. He is so easy to work with as was Maria and all of his co-workers. The whole project came off without a hitch. How many people can say that about a huge project like that? We recommend him enthusiastically to everyone considering a timber frame. He is not just a builder, he is an artist.
