I would like to personally thank you for visiting our site, and for taking the time out of your day to learn more about us. My name is Adam McGuyrt and I started Turf TitanZ in 2011 while attending NC State University for Turf Management. Looking back just a few years before 2011, I was preparing to graduate from Wakefield High School in 2007. I had two main goals I wanted to accomplish early in life, one was to become a Marine and the other was to operate a successful landscape company. I didn't waste any time taking the dreaded trip to Parris Island in September of 2007. I planned on doing one four year enlistment...moments after stepping onto those yellow footprints, I realized it was going to be a long four years! In all seriousness it was one of the best decisions I've made. Halfway into my enlistment I was deployed to Iraq in 2009. It was a humbling experience that gave me a different perspective on life. Following that deployment I had the opportunity to become a Combat Marksmanship Instructor, where I was able to help Marines brush up on their rifle and pistol skills. Those four years of my life passed too quickly. 2011 was a busy year to say the least. I honorably discharged from the Marine Corps, got married, built a new home, started Turf TitanZ and began school at NC State University. Within a few short years Turf TitanZ was off to a running start with multiple trucks on the road and great team members to fill them. I would like to believe that the Marine Corps had a lot to do with how this company has progressed. Although they have two entirely different missions, the values and disciplines are much alike. The Marine Corps instilled many disciplines that I have incorporated into our culture. Turf TitanZ prides itself on Quality, Professionalism, Integrity, and Commitment.
