We hired this interior design firm to finish our business. They weren't the cheapest or the most expensive. We had high hopes starting out because they seemed to have it organized. Starting out it was going as planned. Then all hell broke loose. Contractors started working only 4-5 hours a day. The PM they hired was totally incompetent and didn't know what they were doing. I sent daily pictures of progress. The electrician was MIA for 2 weeks and he told us he never installed the system he was doing. I had to hire someone else to finish the lighting controls. The painting had to be done 4 times and I finally had to hire my own to finish it. The shiplap is warped and they blamed it on a preexisting issue, however they are the ones that built the wall. They supplied the furniture and their painters got paint on the chair but they refuse to replace it. They wanted to take photos at the end but there were still holes in the wall that I had to have fixed. Recessed lights fall out of the ceiling spontaneously and their solution was to use caulking to glue it. They put the wood stove back after finishing the area around it and now cold air comes thru so something didn't get put back right. 7 months past the due date still waiting for final inspection. They lied to the electrical inspector and one of the switches didn't work and you couldn't turn the lights off in the room for two weeks. The inspector said it would have failed when I called him if he knew that. We are in the process of suing them and if you don't want our pain I would suggest not using them.
