There are not enough positive words that I can use to describe the professionalism of Laurie Hasser, outstanding owner of Above and Beyond Interiors. “Above and Beyond” is a mere understatement for all of the incredible ways this woman has bent over backwards to transform my ho hum house into a cozy and inviting home that I never want to leave. She spends so much of her time on and off the clock, working to create EXACTLY what I want, researching and developing the precise look and ideas I’m trying to capture. Her ideas are innovative and unique, and she, not only thinks of them, but figures out a cost effective way to put them into motion, doing all of the work, herself, single handedly. When it came time to paint my cupboards, I was very worried about what all that would involve. Laurie researched the best way for me to clean them and prepare them for painting, and even ordered the best cleaning solution for me to use! She helped me create a quick an easy tool to wipe down walls and woodwork, and explained exactly what I needed to do for her to be able to paint perfectly. Thirty minutes of prep, and the rest was up to her! I left for work at 8am and came home to an amazing new space filled with warmth and so many of her special touches. Every single penny is worth it, but rest assured, you will have plenty of money left because her prices match her unstoppable talent. Laurie has painted the kitchen, kitchen cupboards, family room, bathroom, dining room, hallway, 2 stairwells, a master bedroom, three bonus rooms, and numerous furniture pieces in my large (and difficult to tackle) Victorian home. I wish I could include pictures, but I would be happy to serve as a reference, anytime, as many times as I have turned to her for all of my decorating needs, curtain hangings, painting projects, lighting idea, and professional advice. Laurie Hasser has turned my dream home into my reality, and as my family always says…”In Laurie, We Trust”! I give her a thousand stars!

I have known Laurie for over 10 years and have nothing but excellent experiences with her. She is thorough, professional and extremely talented. Every job is done beautifully and custom to your needs. She listens to her clients and turns your house into a home. Her eye for design and color is exquisite and just a wonderful person, an absolute joy. Thank you, Laurie!

She was all good to go but at the last minute she wanted me to wipe the walls down after the drywall guy was done. She said she doesn’t do that we thought it was the painter’s way of preparing the walls for her to paint. When I told we will do it if she can’t and we were willing to pay her extra to cleaning of the walls she used profanity over the phone and refused to do it. We felt that was very unprofessional and inappropriate of someone in a business for herself. And since we are related we also thought that was awful to treat family.
