J & J Quality Construction Inc.

Our house has two different sized insets on each side of our fireplace. We were in the market for custom shelving to be built in both insets around an existing wall-mounted TV. We contacted J&J Construction for a quote. Owner Robert Jackson quickly returned our call and set up a meeting. Robert was prompt, friendly and listened to our needs. He provided a series of options; styles, wood type and stain colors. Within three days we received a quote, followed by an e-contract. The online payments were easy. Prior to construction, we met the other half of J&J Construction, Michael Jackson. They took notes and measurements and finalized the style of construction. The cabinets and custom mantle were built at J&J’s shop and installed in our house. Construction took two and a half days. This included installation, paint touch up, buffing of the stain and tacking down the carpet. All of J&J crews and the contracted painter were skilled, professional and personable. We were very impressed with the 6-week turnaround from initial meeting to final product. We love how the custom cabinets change the look of the room!

We are thrilled with our kitchen remodel. We chose J and J Quality Construction because they seemed like people we could really relate to -- that we could trust. Mike and Rob are both professional, personable and reliable. We never felt that they were trying to take advantage or sell us on anything that was not necessary. The subcontractors were on time each and every day, professional and respectful of our home. The timeline provided was accurate and every question we had was addressed promptly. Even as the project was finished you saw the great pride J and J takes in their work and reputation. Of course it is not pleasant being with out your kitchen in a remodel, however they did everything possible to make it as pleasant and seamless as possible. If you want a thorough, honest and professional company this is the one for you.

We cannot even begin to explain what a wonderful experience we had with J&J Quality Construction. We interviewed five contractors - some bids were higher, some lower, but we got a fabulous feeling about this family run operation. From the appointments which they were always on time for, to the final product of our new kitchen and office, they were incredible. The construction professionals working in my home were respectful and always cleaned up at the end of the day...on time, on budget and communicating along way any changes or challenges! I have an almost hundred year old house with small closets and not enough bathrooms, so I wanted to create a master suite with a bathroom. J&J Quality incorporated everything I wanted into the plans and gave great suggestions to improve on my hazy idea of what the project could be. We converted a large bedroom and the two small closets between it and the master into a bathroom, nursery, and two large walk-in closets. The guys at J&J Quality were so helpful, accessible, kind, and honest that in all my future projects, I will always go to them. They used their great knowledge to trouble shoot problems that are bound to surprise you with old houses, and field permitting and tower district aesthetic limitations. They pay a great attention to detail to make sure all their work is quality and showed great courtesy to me as their customer and someone who had to live with the adventure of construction on my bedroom while eight and nine months pregnant.
