House Medic provides Handyman services and general home repair in the DFW area. A Handyman is a skilled "Jack of all Trades" available to complete a wide range of home repairs and improvements. A homeowner can save time and money by hiring one person to complete several small tasks versus a specialist for each individual task. I am a certified and insured handyman with more than two decades of experience. I've done drywall, electrical, plumbing, HVAC PM, fence repairs etc... for people in the Collin County, Denton County and DFW area. Let me start off by saying that my wife and I do all the work for our business. House Medic does not use subcontractors or day laborers unless specifically requested by our customers. As needed, I mentor and apprentice some young men and woman who assist in completing projects. I started working on construction projects at the age of 15 with my grandfather. He broke me in on on everything from building fence to fixing an air conditioner. My grandfather & father taught me a strong work ethic. I graduated from high school in my home town of Borger, Texas, in 1988. During my high school years I also became very interested in EMS and public safety and went on to work as a paramedic and police officer for 20 years. I had the opportunity to serve the public in many roles from patrol officer to helicopter flight paramedic and Chief of EMS on two different occasions. In addition, to my public safety career I have continued to work in various technical and general repair roles as a service technician, service manager and business owner. I have been married for over two decades and we have four daughters that we home school. I have been blessed with many opportunities over the years that have allowed me to learn many different skill sets. I hold a Texas and EPA certification in HVAC and three journeyman certification in in electrical and electronic repair. I enjoy the challenge and variety of the handyman business and I won't be happy with the work unless you are.
