Kitchen sink backed up so I tore all of the plumbing out and found the pipe to be clogged after the PVC extension that went through the wall. Plumber showed up the next morning an hour late and proceeded to snake my line 3 times. The snake was going up the wall and out of the vent pipe on the roof. This is where he decides to tell my wife that he cannot do anything for her and in would be 300-600 to tear out the back of the cabinet and replace the T-fitting. So when I came home I decided to tear into it myself a little further. Come to find out that if he had taken the PVC (6" long angle) and shove the snake 10 feet in the pipe the correct direction the drain would be clear as that is what I done myself after borrowing a store bought snake. Needless to say this was BS as he still charged my wife 100.00 for a job that could have been completed correctly and not have been told it would cost an extra 300-600 for unneeded repairs.
