We'd love to help design and create the happy home you dream about! Surdus Remodeling is your all-in-one remodeling contractor. We'll work closely with you to design the perfect bathroom or kitchen before ordering the parts, accessories, and supplies. The construction process is done professionally and efficiently, and all within a budget you create. In 2000, Elijah Gold- a typical handyman- bought a second home which was rented to tenants who caused significant damage. Around the same time that the tenants were evicted, Elijah also became unemployed due to downsizing. He created a new full time job of repairing and renovating the deteriorated second house by hiring an experienced contractor to help and mentor throughout the project. The property was completely gutted and rebuilt, from basement to roof. When it was completed, Elijah and his family moved into the completely remodeled second home and then he proceeded to gut down and remodel the first home on his own. Throughout the first years of hands-on training (is there any other kind that matters?) Elijah acquired all of the required tools. He met and collaborated with many of the best local contractors including handymen, electricians, plumbers, and other tradesmen. When Surdus Remodeling was founded in 2004, Elijah had already hand picked the best tradesmen to collaborate with and include in any kitchen, basement, or bath remodeling project. Nearly a decade later, Elijah continues to thrive on the reward of surpassing every customers' expectations. I hired Surdus in May to remodel kitchen area of house. The result was poor workmanship, and did not show concern for client. The contractor did not check quality of work. Microwave vent was installed improperly. I called their attention to it, and they were forced to come back and re install properly. The sold me defective cabinet, installed drywall over electrical area that they had to re install, charged me for mold removal however presented no evidence of mold or certification in that area. Slowed pace of work. Currently sent in complaint to Better Business Bureau for unethical practice. Please carefully read contract so that payment coincides with work completion.

Fair pricing, reliable and good final product. We had them do a partial master bath remodel and it's wonderful. I would use them in the future.

Elijah completely remodeled my kitchen, bathroom and finished my basement. The job was done according to schedule and in line with estimate. We were very happy with the results and would recommend him without any hesitation.
