Home Inspector - Germantown, MD
George Stedman grew up in the 1960’s Montgomery County (Bethesda). As he was growing up, he became interested in building. In fact, building a room for himself in his parents’ unfinished basement was his first project. After serving in the U.S.Navy in the late 70’s, George began working in construction. At first, as a carpenters’ helper and quickly advancing to a carpenter and eventually, a jobsite foreman. As he learned, he always seemed to be fortunate to have accomplished and experienced supervisors who stressed that “attention to detail and doing a project properly in the first place was easier than having to do it over”. Following that advice, George spent over 15 successful years in the construction field. It is that mindset that George brings to his inspection practices. Detailed, diligent and consistent in practice. George also spent several years as an estimator for a local contractor. In that time, he was able become learned in structural, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems. All Maryland Licensed Home Inspectors are bound by an ethics pledge that they will keep their clients’ interests first in mind and practice. George treats his clients with respect by sharing his knowledge on homes and their various systems
