Worst experience we have had with any repair in 20+ years of home ownership. Charged us $250 an hour for driving time without telling us in advance that they bill for travel time. We later learned that this travel time was not to/from their home/office location but on their way home from a project. The project is in San Carlos, and they live in Glen Ellen. We live in Marin, 5-10 minutes off the freeway, so we were right on their way home. In replacing a faucet, they threw away a piece to our water recirculating system, which we realized when the system stopped working the day they did the work. They refused to take responsibility for their error and would not pay for the part or the plumber we had to hire to come in and re-install the part. I called the main office and talked to someone who said he had 20 years of plumbing experience but did not know anything about the check valve that we need for our recirculating system. The numbers on their invoice do not add up. They charged us $30 for tax on an $80 part, and they never provided the receipt for the part. They refuse to discuss the invoice and our concerns with it, so now they put a lien on our house, adding $500 to the invoice without explaining why. Not only do they not know plumbing, they are completely unethical. I would not recommend hiring them under any circumstances.
