Sheila's Color My World, LLC

Hi! My name is Sheila Casperson, and I finally did it! I feel like the luckiest girl alive! I've gotten a chance to make a living doing what I love to do the most, and best of all what I do makes others happy. Well, I guess I should tell you a little about myself. It all started at a young age watching my father oil paint. From that time on I knew what I wanted to spend my time doing. I would sit for hours on end sketching anything I could find, in books, magazines, and nature itself! I had a great admiration for all cartoonists, my favorite being Charles Schultz. I would dream of creating my own characters and having a chance to bring them to life. As I got older, schools, family and friends pushed me to go further with my artwork. I remember being so scared that taking what I loved so much to do and turning it into a job would make me lose interest in it. So I didn't listen and instead kept it as my hobby and went to school for various engineering designs. After graduating I went to work for an engineering company doing plumbing design. No regrets, during this time I met a wonderful man by the name of Brett Casperson, who I am now proud to call my husband. Now I must tell you, for several years I had this crazy idea. The idea, becoming a muralist! I loved my artwork and with the career I had, had less and less time to spend with it. I discussed this with my family and friends over the years and now must give credit to my husband and family , because without their continuous encouragement and support I don't believe I would be living the dream I am now.
