B & E GENERAL CONTRACTORS INC

I'm posting this 22 years after hiring B&E to add on a bathroom to our house. While they were a friendly and economical choice at the time, as our bathroom is now being remodeled we are seeing the shortcuts this company took. If I did not think it were past the statute of limitations, I would seek legal action because of the additional spending I have to perform on the current remodel. First off, the fan in the bathroom was never connected to the roof vent; the exhaust was going into the ceiling cavity. Second, the in-floor radiant heating hooked up to our boiler was always week, but in this case, was never effective because they buried the coils in the many layers of foam, mud, and flooring. Our current contractor wondered how it ever even worked. Third, there was never a dripline installed on the roof. As the demolition on our bathroom occurred, it was revealed that water had ruined the exterior walls, which had to be unexpectedly replaced on the current project. Lastly, the insulation in the add-on room was so inadequate that items in the medicine cabinet practically froze during the winter.
