Keith put a retaining wall in our back yard. The intent was to regain a yard when fixing drainage issues affecting a neighbor had turned our yard into a ditch. The wall looks nice, but Keith reintroduced the drainage issues. Keith was made aware of the previous issues, and he agreed not to raise the base of the ditch on three different occasions. Yet he failed to stand by this agreement. Keith was engaged multiple times and was content to tap dance his way out of taking care of the issue which he caused. He could not even be bothered to come by the house and look. After multiple hours on the phone engaging the city elevation measurements were taken. These measurements confirm that Keith raised the ditch and graded the uphill side at twice what it should have been. This error created an 80 foot low spot where water cannot drain. When presented with the numbers Keith attempted multiple excuses to get me to let him out. Every excuse was easily countered with the numbers from the city. Keith finally said simply “I don't do grades” and stopped responding to messages. He had no issue in several previous conversations commenting on how he graded the ditch properly, despite suddenly deciding he no longer did grading when it was time to take care of a customer who he failed. Keith has plenty of business it seems and does not care about ensuring he provides quality workmanship. He talks a good game, and is easily liked. Would recommend staying away though.
