A 2200 amp 208 volt. Three phase service, with a 1600 amp/208 volt three phase service to handle the individual living units, and a 600 amp three phase 208 volt service for the underground parking garage and common areas. It took Bergstrom 4466 man-hours to complete the design and construction of what is considered the most luxurious living arrangements in the region.

Apartment Electrical Installation

Installed a 1600 amp main distribution along with a 55 KW backup generator. The building's common areas were handled by three 225 amp subpanels, there was an additional 150 amp emergency power panel, and then each apartment had its own 100 amp panel. Every apartment had a heat pump in it that incorporated the geothermal field. Bergstrom also installed several VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives) on the well-field pumps that circulated the water through the building.

The electrical system was a 600 amp/240 volt single phase system with two 200 amp off-peak panels feeding the two electrical plenum heaters, electric boiler, and two heat pumps. The highly efficient heating system utilizes off-peak power to keep energy costs low.
