Old School Roofing

I hired Todd Butler for a built up roof on my home and new garage along with gutters. 1.5 years in now and still having problems. Problems started within 6 months and continue. Asphalt sliding and water leaking behind gutters. Slow to respond. Todd and an employee have come numerous times to repair but the problems continue. After much research on my own, I found Todd Butler did not follow manufactures guidelines and he admitted it recently in a conversation. Now states he engineered a custom roof. I spoke with 3 roof consultants who believe I will continue to have problems with the installation. You decide if you want to hire this company who does not follow manufactures guidelines and recommendations. This site does not offer photos or I would include.

We have a mid century modern house and wanted a original style gravel roof. Todd Butler from old school roofing promised us a quality job. I after signing a contract Todd butler became a different person. Their work was late to start and shoddy. We have tar oozing off the roof, gravel in the expensive gutters that are twisted and warped from poor installation. He has voided our warranty. The job looked terrible after 6 months and somehow it's our fault. These are bad people only after the money stay away.
