Bonzai Garden & Landscape

We hired Bonzai to build a flower bed that would include a French drain both inside and outside of flower bed. We met on April 13 to discuss the details. May 19 they Finally built the stone wall, after having been told on several occasions they were going to start. Finally on May 23rd the plants and the inside drain were finally installed (which was not buried deep enough). May 25th called to see when were they going to did the trench for outside drain. The owner Kenneth reassured me that the job would be completed by Wednesday, than by Friday. The owner was advised that it was imperative the job was completed due to an inspection that was scheduled by the mortgage company May 22nd the French was not installed nor had anyone been back out to the job site. I Called and text leaving a msg advising Kenneth of the deadline again, while questioning the fact that plants were not fully covered as their roots were showing and asking why the inside drain was sitting up kinda high verses being buried in dirt. May 28th still a no show called the owner again who advised that he had to go the hospital that past Tuesday the 26th but that he would send some workers by and that they would be done by Saturday. I go by there to pay another Contractor and all of the plants have been pulled up out of the flower bed. I called the owner, no answer so I left a message asking if they had been by there. The owner Kenneth calls back to say yes and that they were the ones who removed the plants and the inside drain because he needed some clarification on how far down the drain needs to go. At that point there was no need to continue because if he was going to do the job it would have been completed. Instead he keep giving me run around which cost me my buyer as they pulled out of the deal because that was Drain supposed to have been installed by June 1st. If he knew he couldn’t do the job he should not have agreed to do it!! Sorry any typographical or grammatical errors
