Paragon Construction DFW

Literally the worst experience we have ever experienced with a trade and I am a custom designer in the field for over 20 years. Instead of showing up in the afternoon as promised, the company rep kept sending delay text messages until his eventual arrival which was at 10:45pm. Please digest that detail... 10:45PM!!! There is so much I could add but to be short, we had to ask him to leave when it became 3:30AM... He had no idea what time it was, went back and forth to his truck at LEAST 50x's without returning with anything (and didn't remember why he was going to his truck), yelled and bossed my mother around during his time within the home, and totally screwed everything up that he/the company was hired to do! The stove top which he was hired to do- First, he turned off the wrong breaker and almost electrocuted himself. Then he decided to turn all the breakers off. After I personally removed the existing stove top and physically carried and replaced the new stove top (to help him), he spliced the new wires and taped everything to the wall instead of installing the stove correctly. This process took over two hours and we now have to hire someone to correct it... including that the drawers that go below the stove top can not be put into place due to the incompetence of the way that the installer fudged and taped the new wiring. This company also allowed this individual to be responsible for replacing the kitchen faucet. Seems easy enough! He could not figure out how to complete this task (and continued to go back and forth to his truck- an addition 20 times without anything in hand) for hours! Towards the end, he asked for $150 extra than what was originally quoted just to complete hooking up the faucet. When it got to the point of attaching the dishwasher in place, we told him to forget it since it was 3:30 in the morning and he still hadn't completed either of the two other tasks that he was hired to do. He replied "I'm not missing out on the $45 for attaching it" and proceeded to head to the kitchen anyway. We stopped him and paid him for everything even though he completed NOTHING! Funny thing is that he would not have even been able to attach the dishwasher if we had agreed to let him do so. The electric screw driver that he brought in (after 1 of his many trips to his truck) for the dishwasher was missing the battery pack. He had also asked to borrow several tools including a screw driver, a wrench and batteries. There is MUCH MORE I can add but to summarize.. I spoke to someone at the company named Kelly the evening of Sept 29th 2021. She stated that the gentleman that gave me "the night from hell" is not competent to be doing the work that he did (which included wiring/electrical) and asked me to submit to her what had been done. So why was he allowed to come to my home? This company was a referral from Home Depot's Pro Referral. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! IT WILL BE THE WORST MISTAKE OF YOUR LIFE AND A HAZARD TO YOUR SAFETY

Robert replaced a defective Microwave at our home with a new one on 4/25/2020. The installation went well and we are very satisfied with his work.

DO NOT HIRE PARAGON CONSTRUCTION DFW We invited Robert with PARAGON CONSTRUCTION to install 16 feet of quarter round along with a sink on Friday. In addition to arriving 3 to 4 hours late without notice and didn’t finish the job after 6 hours, he has been giving us the run around since Friday. To make matters worse, he shattered our guest bathroom sink which we had to replace as well. He appeared to be professional at first and even mentioned he conducts himself in a Christian manner, guess everything is not what they seem. We were referred to him by a service at Home Depot called Pro Referral... Robert did not complete the job as promised. He informed us they would be back the following day, Saturday, June 1st, at 4pm to finish the job and we are still waiting for them to arrive. He is dishonest and a cheat. Although we did our homework, and checked references, we still go duped. We will continue to be Home Depot customers as this is our first bad experience. It appears one bad one got thru the cracks.
