We hired Robbie to build us a deck and cover, and a few other things in our yard. He took 50% up front came back to our house to chat a little bit more about things before getting started. After that point he would not show up to start work on committed dates. We would have to call him to find out when or if he was coming, he never did. He continually had different reasons as to why he couldn't come or start the work. He also mentioned that some rocks would be delivered to our house but they never showed up. Lastly, he said that he got Covid, and maybe he did, but by that point I was not sure what to believe. I felt uneasy and went to verify that he filed a permit, as he said he did. After talking with the city clerk she said there was no record of a permit being filed against our house. We asked for proof, from Robbie, but weeks went by without an attempt to show that he had one or that a mistake was made. After that we found his business card from a while back and found out others have had issues. We are in the process of disputing the charge on our credit card after constant unfulfilled commitments to come over to pay us back. Kicker is now he is telling us that he is going to sue us because he can't take a loss. This guys is a major scam artist stay away and save your money and sanity.

Robbie was supposed to strip and refinish the deck, hang new doors, new trim throughout and replace the back door. He charged me 12 grand or so and wanted 50% down. I ended up paying him 50% plus a few hundred. I have never seen such amateur work. They hung the trim around the doors, right on the edge. Well obviously that won’t work with hinges and hardware. He laid the trim all the way down on the subfloor, prior to the carpet folks coming in. I have bullnose corers, he ran everything to a 45 degree angle and caulked the crap out of it. He completely left me SOL and out 6k. I have tons of pictures of you would like to see. Highly disappointed and will go on telling folks not to hire him. Makes me sick to my stomach to think about it. Scam artist and fraud.

I would give 0 stars if I could this just took a deposit from our business and always has excuses not to do the work we asked for a refund he agreed he did not do anything for us and would refund our money it has been several weeks now with no refund 1500 gone to this crook don't trust him like we did he is a con artist and a thief
